• Dr. Amrit Rai , DVM

Dr. Rai graduated from Iowa State University, Ames, Iowa in 1993. She also has a Masters degree in Veterinary Medicine from the Panjab Agricultural University, Panjab, India. Dr. Rai started practicing veterinary medicine starting in 1993 and did relief work as DVM in a variety of hospital settings all across in Southern California. She moved to Phoenix, AZ in the year 2000 and has been practicing in the Phoenix valley ever since. Dr. Rai has one dog, a handsome yorkshire terrier named "Lego", whom she rescued from a previous place of work. She has 2 sons aged 10 and 12 who keep her more than occupied when she is not practicing medicine.

 



• Mrs. Julie Becker , B.S.

Julie is our office manager and a graduate of  University of Phoenix.  She has over 12 years experience in the veterinary field, working at Sugarloaf Animal Clinic.  She has two dogs, an American Bulldog named Eve and a Boston Terrrier named Otto.  In her leisure time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, wake boarding, hiking, boating, duning, snow boarding, and horseback riding. In the last couple of years she is also trying to be more environmentally friendly and started not only recycling but composting too, which she uses for her vegetable and fruit garden (which Eve loves to dig in!). She also keeps quite busy with her three children, Sabrina, Kai and London.

 

 



• Mrs. Amanda Hinkle

Amanda has been working in the veterinarian field for over five years. She is currently attending Gateway Community College majoring in Biology.  Her goals are to attend ASU for her undergraduate and go on to obtain her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree.  She has four kids, two dogs, and one cat. She enjoys spending her free time with her family, hiking, martial arts, and volunteering.

 



• Mrs. Tina Doherty

Tina has been a veterinary technician for 5 years with some emergency/critical care experience. When she is not smiling at work she enjoys relaxing with her family and her labradors and dachshunds.  She has three wonderful kids and a very loving fiance.  Tina does a lot of volunteer work; she participates in the paws for cause walk every year and during the holidays you will also find her volunteering at various food shelters

 



• Mrs. Sarah Kankiewicz, AA

Sarah is often seen educating and helping Dr. Rai in the exam rooms.  She is happy to explain anything in great detail, so if you are not sure just ask Sarah! In her free time she enjoys playing with her two dogs and two cats.  She is also very busy right now planning her wedding.  Sarah attended Bel Rea Veterinary Technical Institute in Denver to follow her passion of animals and then graduated Immanuel College with her Associates of Arts degree two years ago.  Since then she has been gaining lots of experience with several different animal hospitals in surgery, critical care, and wellness education. 

 



• Mrs. Audy Wade , B.S.

Audy has a Bachelors degree in Psychology from ASU and recently finished her veterinary technician course.  She has been working at Sugarloaf Animal Clinic for over 2 years. She takes pleasure in her three dogs and one cat.  She enjoys working out, running, taking her dogs to the park and laying out by the pool. You will  most often see her friendly, smiling face at the front reception area where she runs the show!

 



• Miss Natasha Nanda

Natasha is an aspiring veterinarian. She commenced her studies at Arizona State University in Falll 2007. She is working on her undergraduate, majoring in pre-medical engineering.  She has two dogs, a 5 year old beagle named Fillmore and a 1 year old English Pointer named Boris and enjoys playing tennis in her free time.
